As previously mentioned, the actual cost of treatment depends mainly on the severity of the dental problem. A less severe case would, of course, cost less than a relatively more difficult one. Convenient financing with an initial down payment and interest-free monthly installments can be arranged.
If the cost of the treatment determines your decision to choose one orthodontist over another, please take extreme care in making this decision. Different offices have different operational costs depending on the quality of the materials being used, location, and their specialty services.
Our treatment plan quote includes:
- The records fee, (panoramic x-ray, head x-ray, photographs, and study models)
- The actual treatment
- One set of retainers for upper and lower arches
- One year of retainer adjustments
The fee may differ depending on individual dental insurance requirements. If we participate with your particular insurance plan (See below), we will base our quote according to the insurance fee schedules. We are unfortunately unable to give you even a range of fees, since different insurance companies, or reduced fee programs may have their own set of fees.
For instance, if your insurance plan provides for a set fee schedule, then we would honor that fee. Some reduced fee plans require that we simply give the patient a percentage of discount from our regular fees. There are many plans with many different fees, and many different requirements. If you provide us with your insurance information before your initial visit, we will be glad to let you know exactly how much insurance coverage you have. This way you will know all you need to know about our treatment plan, fees, and methods of payment at your initial appointment.
We are listing the insurance plans that we are participating with, but if you have a plan that is not on our list, please feel free to e-mail or call us. We will be more than happy to inquire about your plan. Unfortunately, some of the reduced fee and the HMO plans make it impossible for us to join due to their extreme and non-sense set of fee plans. We believe in quality and perfection, and therefore we cannot sacrifice the care we intend to render nor accept a loss.
