Which is better: Invisalign or Braces?
There are many benefits of Invisalign over metal braces. You can remove your aligners to brush your teeth and floss as you normally would. With braces, once they go on, they remain in place for the length of the treatment which can last up to 5 years. Being able to remove them to brush your teeth also eliminates the risk of tooth enamel staining from permanently attached metal brackets. You’ll be able to maintain a proper oral hygiene routine and never have to worry about food getting stuck in your braces! The other main benefit is the fact that they are clear. This makes them the more aesthetically pleasing way to straighten your teeth. They are designed to sit snug against your teeth making them virtually unnoticeable. Invisible braces are made from smooth, soft plastic material that will not irritate the gums and soft tissues in the mouth like metal braces often do. Also, there is no risk of tooth enamel staining from permanently attached brackets.
