About Dr. Mo Izadi
Dr. Mo Izadi is a dedicated orthodontist and specialist in dentofacial orthopedics with 32 years of experience creating healthy, beautiful, and confident smiles in the greater Baltimore area. After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree with honors from Howard University in 1992, he completed his orthodontic residency at the top of his class. Since beginning his private practice in 1994, Dr. Izadi has remained committed to providing exceptional, personalized orthodontic care. He opened his first practice in Timonium, Maryland, in 1998 and later transformed it into a state-of-the-art facility in 2014. In February 2007, he achieved the distinguished status of lifetime Board Certification in orthodontics from The American Board of Orthodontics, reflecting his dedication to the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Licensed to practice in Maryland and Virginia, Dr. Izadi has successfully passed two regional board examinations. Throughout his 32 years in practice, he has developed extensive expertise in treating patients of all ages, including growing children with complex skeletal and developmental concerns, individuals with cleft lip and palate, and adults requiring advanced orthodontic treatment and orthognathic (jaw) surgery. A proud member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Dr. Izadi is committed to lifelong learning and regularly pursues continuing education to remain at the forefront of modern orthodontic techniques and technology.

Dr. Izadi is an inventor and patent holder in the field of orthodontics. He has been a certified Invisalign provider since the program’s inception in 1997, bringing decades of experience to the evaluation and treatment of patients seeking clear aligner therapy. He carefully assesses each case to determine whether Invisalign is the most appropriate option, ensuring that every patient receives a treatment plan tailored to their individual needs and goals.
Personal Life
Originally from Iran, Dr. Izadi moved to the United States at the age of 17. He now resides in Potomac, Maryland, with his wife, who is also a dentist, their two children, who visit home from time to time, and their beloved Mal-Shi, Henry. Outside the office, he enjoys yoga, poetry, gardening, research, and traveling with his family.
