Dr. Mo Izadi is a dedicated orthodontist and specialist in dentofacial orthopedics. After earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery with honors from Howard University in 1992, he completed his orthodontic training at the top of his class. Since beginning his practice in 1994, Dr. Izadi has focused on providing exceptional care to his patients. He opened his first practice in Timonium, MD, in 1998, which he later renovated into a state-of-the-art facility in 2014. In February 2007, he earned the distinction of being a lifetime Board-Certified Orthodontist, underscoring his commitment to excellence in the field.
Dr. Izadi is licensed to practice orthodontics in Virginia and Maryland and has successfully passed two regional board examinations. With more than 30 years of experience in private practice, he is dedicated to creating healthy, beautiful smiles for patients of all ages. His expertise includes treating growing children with serious skeletal and developmental concerns, patients with cleft lip and palate, and adults requiring complex orthodontic and orthognathic care. A lifelong learner, he regularly pursues continuing education to stay at the forefront of his field and provide truly personalized care to every patient. As a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Dr. Izadi is also an inventor and patent holder in orthodontics. He has been a Certified Invisalign provider since the program’s inception in 1997, and carefully selects cases that will benefit from aligner treatment.
Originally from Iran, Dr. Izadi moved to the United States at age 17 and now resides in Potomac with his wife (also a dentist), their two children; who are home from time to time, and their Mal-Shi, Henry. Outside the office, he enjoys yoga, poetry, gardening, research, and traveling with his family. Dr. Izadi is deeply committed to lifelong learning, family values, and helping every patient achieve a healthy, confident smile!
